Team Jumbo-Visma
Considering the squad they have, compared to Team SD Works and Trek- Segafredo, the Dutch is not always able to play the front line.
Yet they do manage to have their say and they definitely are not a one woman’s team.
Marianne Vos
Surprisingly, the 3 times world champion is not their best classics rider. This might sadly be due to that positive Covid test on the morning of Paris-Roubaix.
She nevertheless still managed to pull out 537 points!
She finished with 610 points and a 7th in Velogames Italy. Thus was not enough to overcome her high price tag (16) and her withdrawal after 6 stages in the Giro Donne to earn her a place at the best possible team.
She did however and rather comfortable make in the Tour de France Femmes and Tour of Scandinavia being Velogames MVP rider in both races with 1035 and 1006 points respectively!
Verdict 2023: She will be here and she needs to always be chosen.
Anouska Koster
With no particularly eye catching performance, she was the team’s best performer in the classics with 783 points.
Verdict 2023: She will be joining UNO-X
Karlijn Swinkels,
Anna Henderson,
Riejanne Markus
The trio struck into fame in the Simac Ladies tour by taking 3 of the top 5 places. Each of them costing just 10 coins.
Karlijn Swinkels is a fast sprinter that will be improving and perhaps having a go together more often with Vos rather than leading her out.
Anna Henderson has developed a habit of going for KOM points. While she is rather successful at it, her high value does not help her in Velogames.
Riejanne Markus
The Dutch national champion is a rather powerful rider who will is very often seen at the front of the peloton. She is most likely to win in a solo move.
Coryn Labecki
The American has had a rather deceiving first season at Jumbo Visma. She is a true puncheur who will be dangerous if she manages to find her old form.
